DU Service Manual

Here is a factory service manual for the DU series.  The DU series often seen as the DU4, DU6, Etc is one of the most common in the teens into the mid to late 1920's.   They are very hot and well made. They suffer from the usual woes of wound armatures and sticky goo from deteriorated insulating varnish. Despite nearly a century of hard use and abuse many survive in working condition. They work even when all is not well.  Rebuilding can be spendy as it usually involves rewinding the armature. When rewound and mechanical repairs made they are hot and reliable. They are one of our favourites.
