Pittsfield type B Magneto

Here is some factory information on the elusive Pittsfield type B. We have never seen one or been inside such a beast. Hopefully this will help keep yours alive and well in the next millenia.  Be alert for the usual woes like condensers with electrical leakage and sticky goo emanating from the wound armature.  If more information appears we will certainly post it. If anyone in cyberland would like to share we can post it.

 This was a spendy little beast back in the day. 

 Set the contacts to .015" or thereabouts and all should be well.

  Check the condenser for electrical leakage. If no leakage and the capacitance comes in at .15-.25 MFD all should be well.
