EM Dual
Here is some factory information for the Eisemann EM dual magneto. These used a separate dash mounted coil with a switch that operated the Mag as a distributor with batteries when starting. When (and if) the engine started the dash coil was switched to the Mag mode and the ignition operated on magneto output. This save a lot of cranking and discouraging words.
