Here is a very fine piece of ignition equipment offered by Robert Bosch. It is a robust design and has superb craftsmanship. These were hot and reliable. They were found on export tractors and trucks, special order on some and occasionally OEM. They suffered the usual woes of too much rain in the wrong places and sticky goo from the rotating armature design that did not improve with age. Despite these issues, many are still on the job today. Here are some images from the owner's manual to help keep yours alive and well. This was probably after WW1.
Beware of the screws that hold the wires in the cap. They can be seized and break off if corroded. If they break, make a drill bushing to fit the pocket center drilled for the tap drill size of the screw (3.5MMx.6) taking care not to drill too deep then drop in with the tap.
