MJB

The MJB is an excellent heavy duty mag like the big bad MJA. The MJB uses a slightly smaller coil and rotating magnet and a bronze sleeve bearing on the distributor rotor shaft instead of  ball bearing. These are robust and reliable equipment. they make excelent replacements and were OEM for many larger tractors and stationary engines. here is some information to share to keep yours alive and well.

If the application calls for a fixed timing installation and the magneto has a variable timing lever, place it in the full advance position. The total ignition timing (Lag angle) can be adjusted by loosening the mounting screws and rotating the arrestor plate.
