    • OC Wico Magneto

    The Wico OC is a monstrous beast resembling the famous Wico EK in design and operation. Like the model EK it has two coils with their primaries and secondaries connected in series.  The EK grounds the secondary with a copper strip riveted to the housing that makes contact with the high tension button on the side of the coil when the housing is in place. The OC has two terminals on the front, either of which can be grounded or the output.  These devices were used extensively on gas/oil field and other large slow speed stationary engine installations.
