Here is a big bad refurbished American Bosch MJA4B 112 4 cylinder clockwise magneto. This one has variable timing. This is one of the biggest and baddest magnetos to be found. It runs clockwise and has a 35 degree impulse lag and a 30 degree variable range. It has been completely disassembled, washed, bearings inspected and repacked, blasted, primed and painted, magnets charged, new gasket, points polished and edge gap set. The rotor has a handy arrow seen from a small window for easy timing to the tractor.The cap shows some weathering but is very sound. It has been bench checked and is extremely hot as it should be. These are very robust and reliable. These were used in the larger early case tractors like the model C. These were used in some pf the early Holt tractors. Caterpillar in later years used these as OEM replacements for the medium sized and larger tractors like the 22,25,28, 30(for these applications without manual advance simply secure the advance lever in full advance position) and earlier models. These brutes will work on almost any heavy duty 4 cylinder base mount clockwise installation.They have power to spare and are extremely reliable.
